Pacific Islands Map

To say the Pacific Ocean is massive is almost an understatement. The Pacific covers one third of earth’s surface and has nearly half of the world water surface area. It also has the deepest water on the globe and is bigger than all of the surface area of land on our planet. The equator splits the Pacific in to 2 – the North Pacific Ocean and the South Pacific Ocean. Around 25,000 islands are found in the Pacific and most of these are south of the Equator. The Western Pacific Ocean is found alongside Asia with the East Pacific running along the American Coast.

The map below shows the Islands of the South West Pacific that are perfect for topical holidays.
